Dwelling poetically in the world guides my practice.<\/div>
<\/div>
I am drawn to what endures: traces left by time, gestures passed down, materials transformed, objects repaired, or silent landscapes that continue to tell a story. My work often arises from observation, walking, and collecting. I photograph atmospheres, accumulate fragments of materials, stones, shells, found objects, or colors encountered across the territories I traverse. <\/div>
<\/div>
Through textiles, color, photography, ceramics, patinas, lime, or the transformation of objects, I seek less to produce forms than to reveal the relationships that unite human beings, materials, and the places they inhabit. I am interested in processes of transformation: those that alter a material, a landscape, or an object, but also those that transform our gaze. <\/div>
<\/div>
My approach is nourished by particular attention to artisanal know-how, material cultures, and the discreet forms of beauty discovered when one takes the time to observe. I am sensitive to the philosophies of Wabi-Sabi, the impermanence of things, and the richness of traces left by the living. Land Art practices and artistic approaches that consider territory as a space of experience, relationship, and transformation also nourish my reflection. <\/div>
